1. Skill Sets - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'd try to get into an industrial ASAP. Then you can start refining the ore and selling that. Even with no refining skill, it makes way more than as ore. The key is the cargo capacity. You can hold so much tritanium that you become rich even thoug...

2. Buying insta-bookmarks? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Sounds a little iffy to me. I'd be really sure you weren't paying too much. You can do them yourself. You know. My brain is not wired for the real.

4. flying skills - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Valor Paxton on 24/01/2006 18:38:45 If you're a fighter than handling is good. I would say that ship skills are good for any prof that leaves a station. But your job determines the order you should get them. navigation, the skill, i...

5. Flying in close... - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I found the best way is to do the opposite of what you're thinking. Use keep at range on the one closest to you and attack him and go on down the line. My brain is not wired for the real.

7. Visibility - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
In the trade forum, there is a stickied post from 2004 about basic trading. It talks about visibility refering to buying, despite what the documentation says. You'd think they'd have changed it by now if it referred to buying. My brain is not wire...

9. Visibility - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
If its bugged, it should be fixed. Visibility would be more useful for selling and not buying. IRL a good product must be advertised for someone to buy it. I checked this in game. I have no visibility and when I remotely checked a sale I had goi...

10. Don't think I am where I am supposed to be - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
You've got the ships, now you've got to do something with them. You shouldn't be playing Eve like other RPGs and try to get everything in the game. And is it the looks or attributes of the different ships that you can't make a decision on? My brai...

11. Bantam troubles - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You' shouldn't be putting blasters on there in the first place. They're energy guzzlers and demand you keep a close tail on you're enemy. Blasters have a set range that they "must" be in to hit. Pirate Rats tend to keep away well on newbies. You'r...

12. Memory Leak issues?? Possible fix here!! - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I'm no expert so go easy on me, but isn't memory leakage a problem with many programs that use python? Many bittorrent clients that use this get bloated like Azerous and others. I know Az is written in java. My brain is not wired for the real.

16. Merlin powergrid advice - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Caldari frigates in particular are low in powergrid levels and hard to fit medium power modules. This is my experience. I wouldn't spend to much time this early making it work. Save money for other tasks like more expensive ships. My brain is not ...

20. Afterburners! - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Even better is the mono propellant afterburner. I forgot it's full name, but if it's cheaper in your area, get it. It's slightly faster than the 1mn version. You got the bonus wrong. It gives 105% bonus. The one I mentioned, gives 110% for cheaper...
